Crystal Mountain Limited (80 Candia Road, Swanson, Swanson, Auckland 0614) — located on a 40-acre site, in the foothills of the beautiful Waitakere Ranges, Crystal Mountain is a peaceful oasis just 20km from Auckland CBD (central business district). Many rare and beautiful specimens are available both on exhibit and for sale. Travel by elevator to the heart of Crystal Mountain to visit the Crystal Mine Museum where an impressive collection of fossils, crystals and minerals from around the world are on display. Crystal Mountain has been specifically built for easy access for visitors of all ages, regardless of physical ability and will delight old and young alike with the many things to see and do.
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Tuesday to Sunday). Admission: $35 per person (Includes entry to Crystal Mine Museum, entry to Animal Park, Speedy Gonzales Roller Coaster, Crystal Mt Express Train, Bungy Trampoline, Pony rides, Travis the Tractor Ride, Dinosaur Gully &1 bag of Animal Food). $15 per person (Park Visitor Pass: includes Animal Park entry, Crystal Mt Express Train, Crystal Mine Museum & Dinosaur Gully Includes 1 bag of animal food).
